You cannot talk about the Brazilian music scene and not mention Cassio Audi. Although Cassio Audi is a progressive accountant currently, he is a former talented metal music musician.
Cassio Audi’s music career was very active during the 1980’s and 1990’s. In fact, the brilliant musician was a member of the Brazilian Viper music group. Cassio Audi and his bandmates music can be classified as Pop/Rock. Even with this booming music career, Casio Audi still managed to attend The Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Sao Paulo University and he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He also attended the Universidade de Sao Paulo for an MBA in Finance.
Although metal music started in America and Britain, Brazil also fully embraced this new genre and some bands like Viper fully identified with it. The Brazilian Metal Music was known to have very talented drummers. These drummers provided the basis of the Brazil’s Metal Music which identified itself with unique beats, creative sound, and brilliant sound. Cassio Audi belonged to this group of innovative drummers. Others included Ivan Busic and Jean Dolabella among others. Cassio Audi was basically a teenager when he and other musicians came together to form Viper. Viper was one of Brazil’s most popular Metal music groups. Cassio Audi, Pit Passarell, Yves Passarell and Andre Matos were the founding band members of Viper. The band was formed in 1985. The band’s inspiration was Iron Maiden, which was a British metal band. In 1997 the band released their first album called “Soldiers of Sunrise”. This first album was a hit and AllMusic gave it four stars. It had hit songs like “Killer Sword”, “Nightmare”, Princes from Hell” and “Killera”. The band was a unique Brazilian band in that it had English songs. Cassio Audi’s role in the Brazilian metal music industry was cemented here. The talented metal drummer played with the band until 1989.
